Action Stations Everybody.

Plans To Actions

In this special edition of the Weekly Changy, there is going to be a lot of pictures for me to show you. I have been quite a journey to celebrate my birth, along with celebrating Easter. I would also like to start the blog by apologising for not posting this up sooner!

With a mix bag of more planning, and the pursuit of deadlines, and work on top being done by moi, it has been difficult for me to begin building this post up for you all. I have the time no, I post this instead of working on my Media Ethics major assignment so I can complete my mission of showing you all what happened in the space of 2ish weeks.

Mei Mei Restaurant - Liverpool - 3rd April - My Birthday Meal

What is possibly the best chinese restaurant around that I have witnessed so far, is this place, the Mei Mei. Teaming with Chinese folk and Scousers, is truly a great atmosphere. This was a fine birthday meal to celebrate my birth, I only wish I went when I was actually born, straight out of the hospital, into the Mei Mei. For those of you lucky people that have gone, you are lucky! because there are people reading this that may never be able to witness the awesomeness of the Mei Mei.

The Masque - Liverpool - 5th April - Chibuku

Long Time No See!

Here are the fine chums whom I went to Chibuku with. I participated in many activities such as raving to 2manydjs and Felix Da Housecat, and other activites such as dropping dear Pete's camera and breaking it (But don't worry readers, he was covered by Costco). Not sure who they are? Ah yes, Pete is the chap wearing the white polo top, looking satisfied, accompanied with his brother Mike Bond whom is the one looking the happiest in the picture. I know what your thinking reader, where is Dave Collins? didn't he go with you? Indeed he did! in fact, he is in this picture, just not posing, he is the one in the corner looking at everyone else. What ended out to be a very successful night out with bonuses, was a great return to Liverpool nightlife. What was the bonus? This:

I Met Felix Da Housecat

Not only that, I had a few pictures with him, and he's a real nice guy. On top of all that he practically owned this random guy who was asking him stupid questions about his music.

Of course Dave had his fair share of briefly chatting the chap. As for the girl, I have no idea who she is or what she is doing. Like most crazy house nights there is a sight to see when it comes to a strobe light on the crowd (this goes for dub step nights too). When the strobe comes on, there is a lot of the crowd that look like zombies, in the face. Crazy facial expressions that make them look like complete zombies, I don't know whether it's the music or what they have drank, but the next time you go to a house night or a dub step night, keep an eye out for it. It is fascinating to say the least.

Digital - Newcastle - 8th April - Bitch

The attendees, Dave Collins, coordinated driver. Kenneth Barnett, navigator. Dr Thornthwaite, Nuclear Physicist. Seon Kwak, passenger. Myself, passenger. You never know when you may need a nuclear physicist on a night out, remember that reader. Although you cannot see him in this picture, he is using science to mask his appearance.

A quick look at the hotel we got. This may not look like much, thats because the price was not much, so we took it. This may look familiar to those who stay in Formule 1's a lot. I do, so therefore I knew the layout of the place already. From this picture to the next, we started pre-drinking, which is what our nuclear physicist is doing in the picture. Then as we got ready we got a cab into Newcastle city centre where we went here:

Look Familiar?

If you have ever been to Newcastle, you obviously know what this place is. For those who regretfully watch the reality TV show Geordie Shore, you may have seen this place in a couple of episodes. If I can advertise a Newcastle night out to you, it would be showing you this place. The Gate is a giant indoor adult playground. Filled with restaurants, bars and nightclubs. What more do you want! but as always, our time was limited, and so we pressed onto Digital.

A very good line up. However, my only criticism about event Bitch, was that everyone of these acts, was in one room, where there was 3 rooms, all big enough to spread the love, but they kept it all in the first room. Oh well. My particular favorites of this night was Kim Fai, and Third Party. Both did very good sets. I am a fan of Kim Fai I must say, and would recommend seeing him live. As the night went out, we became more drunk in all honesty. There were others that attended that became so intoxicated they were dragged out by their arms. We weren't that bad, however there are pictures that show evidence of our drunken state.

Dave Collins sporting a jacket on his head.

Dr Thornthwaite, whom was literally bouncing off the walls (I was too) because they were padded.

Above & Beyond - Liverpool - O2 Academy - 14th April

More easter celebrations here, as myself and Dave Collins went to see Above & Beyond, to witness their Uk Group Therapy Tour. Which also ended in another great night once again in Liverpool.

From witnessing Above & Beyond live once again, excites me for Global Gathering and Creamfields. I would like to take up the opportunity to announce that I have purchased my Global Gathering ticket, and will be officially attending. I hope some of you readers can come too. It shall be glorious.

As you can see there has not been much of a development in the past couple of days for work to be done. Which does scare me. As stated before is many other posts, the deadlines are approaching. I am hoping that in the next post, most work has been completed, and I will feel more relaxed about everything rather than now.
